Customer Stories: 1970 Pontiac LeMans 'Poseidon'

Mike Miller's car is a 1970 Pontiac LeMans. The '70 LeMans was nicknamed "Poseidon" when Miller picked out the Atoll blue Pontiac paint color for it.

Miller purchased the car in 2002 after seeing it for sale in a K-Mart parking lot. At the time, Miller was 16 years old, and the car had 200,000 miles on it with the original 350 engine.

Miller has experimented with a couple of different engine and transmission combinations throughout the car's lifetime. Currently, it has a Kauffman Racing all-aluminum 700 HP gas 505 cubic inch engine with a 4L80 transmission. Miller has had the bucket and rear seats reupholstered on the interior of "Poseidon" and had a custom shifter top plate made to retain the original center console.

Miller's favorite memory in "Poseidon" was taking it out for their driver's test in order to get their very first license.
