You have invested serious time, effort, energy, or money into your classic vehicle, why not enjoy driving it even more with a great sounding stereo system.  This complete system kit will allow you to cruise down the highway with the windows down and you will be able to turn your radio up and clearly hear your music without distortion.  Adding an amplifier and a subwoofer just makes your classic car stereo sound better!  Your music will sound like the musicians wanted it to and when you turn it up, it sound even better.  The Kicker KS Series Kicker KS 1953-1954 Ford complete system kit is arguably the best stereo system with offer for your Kicker KS 1953-1954 Ford.  This kit features Kicker's KS series speakers which offer great value and sound quality.  The Kicker KS series speaker feature silk dome tweeters for a rich, warm, and balanced sound that will sound as good or better than most home theater systems.  The Kicker KS series dash speakers have very little tweeter protrusion so that they do not interfere with the dash grille and the rear 6x9 speakers can be either top mounted with the grille showing, or bottom mounted from inside the trunk to neatly hide beneath a perforated package tray.  Simply put, this is a top of the line stereo system for your classic car at a competitive price point.  

For the amplifier in this kit we offer three different options, all shown below.  The Kicker CX series, 600 watt 5 channel amp puts out 50 watts per channel at 4 ohms and has plenty of power for the speakers.  Technically your radio says it is putting out 50 watts, but that is 50 watts peak, not 50 watts constant like this amp.  The Kicker CX 600 watt 5 channel amp pairs nicely with the Kicker Comp C woofer and can power the Comp RT if you are looking for more output and want to save some space.  The Kicker KX series, 800 watt 5 channel amp is a beast of an amplifier and easily power these speakers and either the Comp RT or Comp R woofer.  The Kicker KX amp comes with a Bluetooth control module so that you can control the gain, bass boost, phase, and a clip indicator all from the driver's seat.  Lastly, we offer the Rockford Fosgate T1000x5ad amplifier in this kit.  The Rockford T1000x5ad is dynamite in a small package!  This amp puts out 100 watts per channel to the speakers along with 600 watts to a subwoofer at 1 or 2 ohms which is the impedance of all of the enclosures in this kit.  The Rockford amp offers more constant power than the Kicker KX series and it has a much smaller footprint for more flexible installation options.  The Rockford 1000 watt power mini amp pairs best with the 12" Comp R sub enclosure or you can use it to power the Comp RT.

For the subwoofer in this Kicker KS 1953-1954 Ford Kicker KS series complete stereo kit we offer 3 different enclosure options.  The Kicker Comp C is a standard 10" woofer that is wired to a 2 ohm load to maximize the power output from the amp.  The Kicker Comp C comes in a truck style enclosure in order to save space in your trunk.  It will provide good sub bass response, but it is not going to be over the top.  The 10" Kicker CompRT is a really nice subwoofer and provides full sized sub bass response in a low-profile enclosure to help you save space.  It comes with a passive radiator to help increase the bass response.  This enclosure can work with any amplifier offered in the kit and is just a great all-around subwoofer.  Last is the 12" Kicker Comp R.  The Kicker Comp R is a SQL woofer rather than a SPL woofer.  This means that it is designed for high sound quality systems rather than systems for bass heads that just want to bump.  This woofer is perfect for classic car owners as it will give you the bass you want to hear and somewhat feel, but it isn't going to shake the car, 3 cars in front of you at a stoplight.  If you really want to, you can, but it isn't really that type of woofer.  It is designed for accurate sub bass rather than hard-hitting sub bass.
