Dual Kicker Comp RT 10" Subwoofers

The 10" Kicker 48CWRT104 CompRT subwoofer can handle 400W RMS, it is one of the best subwoofer values, and one of the best low profile subwoofers in the world. Many low profile subwoofers sound "shallow" but the 10" Kicker CompRT is one of the few exceptions. The CompRT does not disappoint with it's shallow design, power handling, and rating. It gives you the bass output you expect while allowing for more flexibility with installs due to its low profile design. The CompRT is really popular if you don't want to take up a ton of space in your trunk, or if you have a truck and you want to put one or two subwoofers under the rear seat of your truck.

Kicker CX800.1 800 Watt Monoblock Amp

The Kicker CX800.1 is perfect to power the two Comp RT 10" subwoofers. The CX series 800 watt amp is rated at 800 watts at 1 ohm and the actual output will exceed that and be closer to 1000 watts. This allows you to keep the gain turned lower for better sound quality while still giving the subwoofer all of the power they can handle. The CX800.1 uses class D circuitry and has a very small footprint given its output. This amplifier is a perfect match for the two Comp RT subs.

Amp Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with an RCA cable and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire. The wire used in both the amp kit and the speaker wire is 100% oxygen free copper. You don't want to spend the money on high-quality Kicker components and then go cheap on the wire. Using 100% oxygen free copper ensures that you get maximum performance and output from both the amplifier and the subwoofers. Don't settle for copper coated aluminum junk. We include the good stuff.

Wire in Parallel to a 1 Ohm Load

The 10" Comp RT subwoofers has dual 4 ohm voice coils. We will want to wire the subwoofers in parallel to a 1 ohm load. Please see the wiring diagram below.
