JL Audio XD300/1v2 300 Watt Mono Amplifier

The JL Audio XD300/1v2 mono amplifier is designed to power your subwoofer(s) and delivers up to 300 watts of RMS power at 2 ohms. This is the top-of-line amplifier that uses JL's NexD switching technology. The XD amplifiers offer superior sound performance and signal processing thanks to JL's advanced thermal rollback protection. That is a fancy way of saying, "This amp is efficient and stays cooler than most," to eliminate distortion and deliver harder-hitting, better-sounding power.

The XD300/1 has superior signal processing, and since it runs cooler, you get less distortion. This amplifier has a low-pass filter that is selectable at either 12dB or 24dB per octave between 50 - 500 Hz. In addition, this amp comes with a infrasonic filter at 30 Hz that can be turned on or off the protect your subwoofer from over-excursion, reduce distortion, and increase efficiency.

The JL Audio XD series amplifiers are the "Go-to" amps for those that want the best JL has to offer, but do not want to get into the HD, Slash, and VXi amplifiers due to cost or complexity reasons. When the JL reps put systems in their cars, they use the XD amps.

This amplifier will work with a 4 AWG wiring kit and accepts both high and low-level inputs. The XD300/1v2 has a black, powdercoated finish and a brushed aluminum cover.

This amp is perfect for powering a single JL Audio W1, TW1, TW3, or W3 subwoofer at 2 ohms.
