JL Audio 10W3v3 Dual Subwoofer Kit with 1000 Watt Amplifier

This JL Audio 10W3 subwoofer package includes two, 10" W3v3-4 subwoofers, a JL Audio 100 watt amplifier, a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with RCA cable, and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire. With this setup, each 10" W3 woofer will receive 500 watts of RMS power from the amplifier as each subwoofer has a single 4 ohm voice coil. You will want to wire the subwoofers in parallel to a 2 ohm load. The amp will supply the full 1000 watts of rated power, distributed among the two subwoofer, 500 watts for each one. JL Audio recommends between 150-500 watts of RMS power for the W3v3.

The JL Audio W3 is the perfect woofer for the discerning customer that wants more than the W0 or W1, yet isn't going to spend $600+ per woofer for a W6 or W7. The JL Audio W3 subwoofers fit perfectly in that sweet spot for a true step-up subwoofer with serious output and performance. The W3 line of subwoofers is legendary and with 500 watts RMS power handling, these subwoofers will not only hit hard, but they are also very accurate.

JL Audio JD1000/1 1000 Watt Mono Amplifier

The JD series of JL Audio amplifiers offer great value, an affordable price, and the quality and reliability that you expect from a JL Audio amplifier. The JD series amplifiers are overbuilt and designed to provide superior sub-bass response. The JD amps use JL's NexD switching technology to efficiently power the subwoofers and come with LED clipping indicators. The LED clipping indicators allow you to quickly and easily optimize your gain settings to ensure that you do not have a clipped input or output signal. This not only optimizes the sound of your stereo system, it also helps eliminate clipping and distortion to the extend the life of your amplifier and subwoofers.

Option to Upgrade the Amplifier

If you are looking for serious output and you want a bigger, badder amplifier than what the JD1000/1 offers, you can change the amplifier in this kit using the drop downs above. You can upgrade to the RD1000/1 or the XD1000/1v2. The RD will provide more actual output and sound better than the JD. The XD will outperform the RD. However they are more expensive, but you get what you pay for with JL Audio amplifiers.

4 AWG Amplifier Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with an RCA cable and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire to ensure that you have virtually everything you need for installation. Both the wiring kit and the speaker wire are made of 100% oxygen-free copper to deliver maximum performance and output from both the amplifier and the subwoofers. It makes no sense to spend the money on JL Audio components only to starve them with cheap, copper coated aluminum wire.

Bass Knob Recommended

We recommend adding a bass knob to your subwoofer kit. The bass knob will allow you to easily and quickly adjust the subwoofer level. No two songs are recorded and mixed the exact same. Some songs have a ton of bass in the recording while others have very little. The bass knob allows you to turn the subwoofer level up and down to your listening preference. In addition, if you are listneing to a song with very little bass and the next song has a ton of bass, the bass knob allows you to quickly turn the subwoofer level down to eliminate distortion and protect your investment.

The bass knob for the XD1000/1v2 amplifier is different than the bass knob for the JD1000/1 and RD1000/1. If you opt to upgrade the amplifier to the XD1000/1v2 and you want a bass knob, make sure to select the correct bass knob for your amp.
