JL Audio C1 speakers deliver superior audio performance in a design that is made to fit behind factory grilles. To enhance this fitment, spacer/adaptor rings are included that allow the C1-690 woofers to be installed in bottom-mount applications. 

The C1 woofer drivers substantially benefit from proprietary FEA modeling along with JL Audio's experinece in low-frequency driver design. This expertise is also used to create speakers that can not only play loudly, but maintain a clean and dynamic sound.

At the center of the C1-690 component system is a proprietary, steel 6 x 9-inch (150 x 230 mm) oval frame and a DMA-optimized motor system. Also equipped with an edge-driven, 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter, the C1-690 sets itself apart with unmatched high-frequency definition and clarity.
