The wiring for this subwoofer is straightforward. Positive off of the amp to the positive terminal on the woofer. Same thing for the negative side. The JD1000/1 is supplying the maximum amount of RMS power to these woofers at a 4 ohm load. Any amplifier with over 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, will void the warranty from JL Audio.
