1970-1972 Chevy Malibu VHX Gaugues - Black Alloy Gauges with White Lighting

The Dakota Digital VHX-70C-MAL-K-W updates the dash and interior of your 1970-1972 Chevy Malibu or El Camino with modern looking gauages. These gauges are super easy to install and mount to your original or factory dash bezel (not included). These gauges come with black alloy dials and white LED illumination which allows them to look great in virtually any interior, regardless of the color. The VHX-70C-MAL-K-W uses the latest technology and still allows you to keep the stock-location turn signals and you can still retain the stock gear position indicator.

The Dakota Digital VHX series gauges feature six analog gauges with fully lit needles featuring white LEDs and backlit, black alloy gauge faces. In addition, there are two highly visible MCD message centers on both the speedometer and the tachometer.

The VHX-70C-MAL-K-W uses micro-controller precision stepper motors, solid state sensor for unprecedented accuracy, and customizable display information. The Dakota Digital VHX gauge systems are engineered and manufactured at their facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Dakota Digital instruments are programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers.

• Water Temperature - 1/8" NPT, Ground Isolated Sensor w/ 10 ft. Harness
• Oil Pressure - 1/8" NPT Solid State Sensor w/ 10 ft. Harness
• Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness. Sensor requires approximately 5" clearance extending between the cable drive output and any obstruction. Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required.
• Bushings - ·Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads.
