1956 Chevy Premium Stereo Kit

Our 1956 Chevy Premium Stereo Kit is available in a 4 speaker configuration or a complete, but modified, "5 channel" configuration, which is really a 4-channel amp with with a self amplified 8" subwoofer model of your choice.

We offer this kit with your choice from the Custom Autosound USA-230 radio, USA-630, or the USA-740 with built-in Bluetooth, depending on which features you want. The USA-230 is a 200 watt AM/FM radio with an Auxiliary input. The USA-630 is a 300 watt AM/FM radio with an auxiliary input, a USB port, the ability to add Bluetooth via the BluKit and the ability to add a CD player with our CD-1. The USA-740 has Bluetooth built in, a subwoofer pre-out and the option to pick your display color.

These stereo kits include a choice from three different 4-channel amplifiers, a 280 watt JL Audio amplifier, a 300 watt Rockford Fosgate Amplifier, or a 500 watt JL Audio Amplifier which will give you the most power to supply your selected speeakers with.

The 1956 Chevy Premium Stereo Kit comes with front speaker kick panels with your choice of pre-loaded 6.5" JBL Club Series speakers, Infinity Reference speakers, Kicker CS speakers, or Kicker KS speakers. For additional audio support, this kit comes with a pair of 6x9" speakers that match your selected brand and model for the 6.5" speakers.

All of the kits also include an amplifier wiring kit and speaker wire.

We built these kits to give you an easy way to get the best sound possible in your 1956 Chevy. Everything is matched up and designed to work well together while offering a large ammount in savings, all depending on the package you select.

The 280 watt 4 speaker system is perfect for the customer that wants something that is going to be louder and clearer than just the radio and will give you better sound than most "Premium" new car stereo systems. Even though the amplifier is rated 280 watts and the USA-630 is a 300 watt radio, there really is no comparison to the sound quality. The amplifier will sound night and day better than running the speakers solely off the radio without an amp.

The 1956 Chevy Premium Stereo Kit also includes the option to upgrade the amplifier to either the 300 or 500 watt amplifier with the option to add a self amplified 8" subwoofer enclosure. With the 300 and 500 watt amplifiers, you get a little more output to the speakers and since the subwoofer is self amplified, all that power is going directly to your speakers. The subwoofer is perfect for the classic car owner as it gives you good bass, but it doesn't take up your whole trunk, leaving room for storage. It can also be easily stashed under most car seats due to it's relatively compact size.

Our 1956 Chevy Premium Stereo Kit will not require you to do any crazy custom installation or cut any holes. If you listen to oldies, jazz, or music that doesn't have a lot of bass, the 4 speaker system with the 280 watt amp will likely be the best for your needs. If you listen to classic rock or music that is from the 1970's and newer, the 4 speaker kit with the subwoofer is recommended as the subwoofer provides the sub bass response to give you the best listening experience. The subwoofer is enough to sound good and fill that bottom end, but it isn't going to rattle your neighbors house or the car next to you. Instead, you will just get great all around sound quality that is comparable to a good home theater surround sound system.
