Great start, but what’s the one thing that all lowriders must have? You guessed right, a bumpin' stereo system is the answer! But not just any system will work; maintain your vehicle's integrity without sacrificing sound quality, volume, or bass. You want something that can make the entire neighborhood shake but you don't want to hack up the dash. Start with a Radio

Your car may have been built 40-50 years ago, but your radio doesn't have to be. Our radios look old school but have modern features that every car should have in today; one of them is Bluetooth connection. Music is an important aspect of the lowrider culture, you want to play your songs, not whatever is playing on the radio. With our USA-740 radio which has Bluetooth built-in, you can stream your own music and play the music you want while still having the original, classic look in your dash. Along with Bluetooth, the USA-740 comes with a USB port, auxiliary input, and 5 channel pre-amp outputs. Most classic vehicles have changed hands at least once, many of them several times. It is important to know whether your dash has been cut to fit a different or more modern radio. Typically an original dash would have 3 or 4 holes to fit a radio’s face and dials. A dash that has been cut to accommodate a modern radio typically has one rectangular hole.

Add Some Speakers

With a radio installed into your lowrider, next you're going to need high quality speakers. For example, if you need to add speakers to your Impala or Monte Carlo, we carry direct fit replacements that will fit in the dash, in the seat, or in the rear package tray. And not only do they fit, but they also sound good. If you like Kicker, we have Kicker speakers that fit. JL Audio? Not a problem. You want it loud with Rockford speakers? We got them too, all without forcing you to hack up the interior or pay for a crazy, custom installation.

Get Loud By Adding an Amplifier

An amplifier will ensure that your speakers are loud and clear. Of course if you are running subs, you need an amp to power them, but we also recommend adding an amp to power your speakers. The amp allows your speakers to play loud, clean, and clear. It means when you turn it up load, it's not just a bunch of bass with your trunk rattling, but the whole stereo system slaps. For most classic lowrider applications, a 5 channel amp will power 4 speakers plus 1 or 2 subwoofers. If you don't want a subs (c'mon you do), you can run just a straight 4 channel amp. If you want crazy bass go with two amps, a 4 channel and a mono amp. One amp for the speakers, one amp for the subs.

Finish It Off with a Subwoofer

When it comes to our subwoofers they do exactly what they are supposed to do; hit hard and give you that deep bass response you can feel. We offer subwoofers that are pre-loaded in enclosures or choose individual subwoofers for your own custom box design. We also offer low profile enclosures that work great for limited trunk space, like when you need a sub but you have your hydros in the trunk. We carry subwoofers ranging from 8" all the way up to massive 19" superwoofers and we can find a solution to fit in any space or budget with products from JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford and more.
