The Infinity Reference 12" shallow-mount subwoofer delivers powerful, deep bass in a low-profile design built for installations where space is at a premium. At the core of this sub is Infinity's exclusive SSI™ switch, which lets you select between 2-ohm and 4-ohm impedance to match your amplifier setup, a feature you won't find anywhere else. A vented basket design helps keep the voice coil cool during extended high-output playback, supporting long-term reliability. Beyond performance, this subwoofer also stands out visually, featuring a radial texture inspired by Infinity's logo, a copper-printed Infinity Mobius on the dust cap, and a high-gloss trim ring finished with supernova-style fluting along the edge. The trim ring press-fits into place to conceal all mounting hardware, resulting in a clean, elevated look once installed. Under the hood, a proprietary aluminum cone holds its shape through full excursion for low distortion, while a high-roll rubber surround increases usable cone area and adds stability for consistent, musical bass.
