JL Audio 8W1v3-4 8 Inch W1v3 Subwoofer 4 Ohm

The JL Audio 8W1v3-4 is has a single, 4 ohm voice coil and offers improved construction and better materials than the W0 line. The W1s have a Mica-filled polypropylene cone and a rubber surround. This 8" subwoofer combines JL Audio's hard-hitting bass, affordability, and long term durability, all into one compact, yet impressive, package.

The 8W1v3-4 is designed to work in a sealed enclosure. It features shallow mounting depth (3.86 in. / 98 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 8-inch driver will not. We recognize you're probably working with a tight space, so we recommend powering the 8W1v3-2 with a 250 watt JL Audio monoblock amplifier. If you are only running 1 subwoofer, be sure to look at the amplifier output at 4 ohms, not just the number that the amp is rated at when completing your setup.

The 8W1v3-4 8" subwoofer is optimized to operate in a compact 0.350 cubic feet (9.90 liter) sealed enclosure but will also operate in a 0.5 cubic feet (14.16 liter) ported enclosure if needed.
