We offer five different speakers to fit the dash of your 1971-1976 Impala. Three of the options are designed for vehicles that had a single mono speaker, while the other two are for
vehicles that had OEM stereo speakers.
For the mono vehicles, all three 71-76 Impala dash speakers will provide you with stereo sound from your original mono location and will bolt right in the factory speaker mounts. We have two different types of speakers, a dual dash mount and a dual voice coil. The dual dash mount speakers consists, of two, 3.5" speakers
mounted on a plate. With the dual dash mount, you have two speaker options, Custom Autosound or Kenwood. The dual voice coil speaker is a 6"x9" speaker that has two tweeters. One tweeter handles
the left channel, while the other tweeter handle the right channel in order to provide you with stereo sound. We recommend the dual voice coil speaker, P/N 3006DVC, as it has more surface
area for mid-range to provide more bass and has a higher power rating.
If your vehicle originally had stereo sound, we offer 3.5" speakers that are mounted on a bracket in order to bolt to your factory speaker mounts. We offer two different options, Custom Autosoun
speakers or Pioneer speakers.
